Leather Jacket...Where are you?

I've got a major gripe...

A little history: I decided last year that I wanted to invest in a quality leather jacket. One that I could wear with dresses or jeans, in all kinds of weather and for all kinds of occasions. I've imagined myself having a wonderful time with my leather jacket. Parties, bonfires, red carpets - hey,this is my imagination, remember? I had a very specific idea in my mind of what I wanted and when I didn't find it, I chose not to compromise. I would wait it out until my dream jacket came along. Well...


I found the leather jacket of my dreams! It was in the August issue of Lucky, in the Editor's Picks by Meredith Kahn Rollins. It is, as she says, "One of the most handsome, pared-down bombers ever." It is the right shade of brown, the right simplistic cut that will look chic for years and it is by Tommy Hilfiger.

I have been STALKING tommy.com to see when they would finally reveal their fall merchandise and the fall choices are up....but my jacket? Nowhere to be found. I don't know where else to look! Tommy.com is the only source Meredith lists. And I've done my fair share of googling but to no avail. I am running out of hope. And now I've got a gripe with both Lucky and Tommy: Don't feature an item that is impossible to find. Because you can shatter dreams. I know it happens all the time but it doesn't make it any easier on me. I haven't completely given up hope yet - I'm hoping for some reason it hasn't gotten on the website yet but... If anyone out there knows anything about this jacket, I'm all ears!
